Description

These six download-and-print Phonics With Feeling readers are suitable for students in late Year 1 or Year 2, or slightly older catch-up learners. The purchaser may print up to five copies of each book (i.e. 40c per print ex GST). A printable quiz for each book is included, or you can use the Wordwall quiz online.

The books can be used with the Spelfabet Level 6 teaching sequence, and the decks of phonics playing cards available here and here. A Level 6 workbook is still in production (sorry).

The Set Seven readers to build in systematic review of previously-learnt spellings while introducing new spellings of the same sounds, to help children relate and compare them. They revise the spellings ee as in sheep, oa as in goat, o-e as in home, ur as in burn, ow as in cow, oo as in moon, and oo as in book. They introduce the spellings ea as in heat, ow as in snow, ir as in girl, er as in her, ou as in out, ue as in blue, ew as in flew, u as in put, and oul as in could.
